Artist's notes
In this painting I wanted to capture that feeling of bliss that comes from over-indulgence, usually from too much good food! And ferrets have over-indulged in my country, New Zealand, on our native bird life. So for their sins they are not allowed to be kept as pets or sold in pet shops.
